I dream every day and a lot. Often i dream about hitchhiking the famous silk road, from [[Istanbul]] to [[Peking]] and then continue to [[Australia]]. Another dream is going hitchhiking to [[Alaska]] and then down the [[Pan American Highway]] to [[Argentina]].

Right out of my office window, over the street is a trucking agency and every day I see the trucks with mumber plates from all over Europe departing. So it needs a lot of self-discipline to remain here and keep on working. Stopping my dreams in this way hassles me and I am pretty sure that the day will come on which I will just go out to get some cigarettes and then never come back again.

Quarim is a 26 years old hitchhiker from Trier, Germany Flag Germany.png. He has hitchhiked in 13 countrys in Europe but most of the way he did in Germany. Right now he stucks in his office at work and does most of the hitchhiking trips only in his head. In real he did a bit more than 17.000 km by hitchhiking. See his logfile of hitchhiking for more statistics

Yes, Quarim is a dreamer! He is dreaming about just leaving his office right now and go out hitching the famous silk road

from Istanbul to Beijing, continue to Australia find a boat to cross the pacific ocean taking him to Chile, then up the Panamericana to Alaska before going to the east coast of Canada, find a cargo ship to Iceland and being back before his lunch break ends.

Hitching with a VfL Wolfsburg flag after they get champion in 2009 works really fine.
