North, East towards Hamburg, Osnabrück, Münster, Hannover, Berlin

The best way to head this direction is probably to take the public transportations to the gas station along the A2. Take the train at Düsseldorf HBF to Oberhausen-Sterkrade and then the bus #979 to Heinrich-Heine-Str. You will see the highway from this street, so just walk towards it. You can also just ask the service point at the Düsseldorf Hbf to print out the best route to Heinrich-Heine-Str. in Bottrop. It will take you ca. 54 Min. to get there with this connection. The fare is about 4,10€, but it is really worth it, because from this station you will get off very quickly.

South towards Cologne, Bonn

<map lat='51.15870377944883' lng='6.962800025939941' zoom='15' view='0' float='right'/> Take the public transportations to the gas station in Hilden, Ohligser Heide at the A3. There are several ways to get there. If you are in Düsseldorf-Bilk, type in the busstation next to you at vrr.de, because there are buses going there. That would be very quick. You can also just ask at the service point of Düsseldorf HBF how to get to Hilden - Südfriedhof or Hilden S, or go to vrr.de and type in the connection. If you go to Hilden S-train station, you will have to walk a bit (see map). It will take you ca. 40 Min. to get there.

West towards Aachen, Belgium
