Hitchhiking westwards
Go to the Barachois on foot from the city center (the sea front), then walk along the shore westward until you reach a small bridge. Cross it, keep going (slightly uphill) until you reach the car jaune (yellow coach) stop. That's the place.

There's a long line of redlights on the way east from St Denis, walkable from the centre. It's called "le Lancastel". Pick one, use a sign.
