Nashville is the capital of Tennessee, USA.
Hitchhiking out of Nashville or the surrounding Davidson county is not advised. In order to combat/harass the growing homeless population, the Nashville police have a policy that they will cite all hitchhikers for illegally soliciting a ride (which compels the hitchhiker to go to Tennessee court on a set date).
