* [http://findacrew.net Find a Crew] is by far the largest website for finding crew and boats, but very difficult to find a boat without paying for a membership use with complex, unnecessary search options and very expensive if you want to become Premium (starting at AUD75 for one month30 days only, less if you pay for a longer period in advancebut why would you want to do that). As a free member you can only browse partial profiles and 't do anything then "wave" to captains - if they have a paid account, they can then start a message conversation with you; if they have a free account like you, they can wave back with a "yes" , "maybe", or "nodecline" but not message you. The site also provides several ways for captains in search of crew to find you, but unless you have sailing experience or the captain is attracted to you, this is probably a very long shot ([[User:Treefrog|Treefrog]] had no luck with this after several months with a free account).* [http://crewbay.com CrewBay] has much fewer boats than Find a Crew, but still quite a few, is super easy to use with very simple search options and you can do share and see most things contact details for free. It does have some premium paid features(only £1.63/week subscription), but you can easily get by without them. It's the best crew site to get going quickly. [[User:Treefrog]] found a boat from Florida to Panama this way, and his crewmates also found the boat using free CrewBay accounts.
