The best spot to hitch is a bus lay-by, next to WSW engines plant. (10 min walk form the city center). Next spot is situated a few hundred meters farther uphill.

A pretty good spot is a bus lay-by situated next to the railway station (10 min walk from the city center)right after the tank station.
