===Categories===
Hi! Your user page category has been changed to '''Category:Hitchhikers in Germany''' because from now on this (along with the old Category:Hitchhikers) will be a standard categorization for hitchhikers on hitchwiki.org (see [[Category talk:Hitchhikers|this discussion here]] for the reasons of doing so). If for some reason you don't want to be categorized by country, feel free to delete country category on your page leaving only a standard Category:Hitchhikers. We hope you don't mind.

Happy hitching,

Great idea, any clue as how I would add my [http://prino.neocities.org/log/log.html 34 years on the road] to it? Individually adding every [http://prino.neocities.org/log/summary.html#Trip_Summary trip], let alone [http://prino.neocities.org/log/log2016.html every ride] is simply impossible.

Most of my trips are round-trips, and it doesn't make a lot of sense add my first trip as "De Bilt" to "De Bilt", 47 rides, 2,981.2 km, 33:44 hour... And then having to click 360 times on a calendar to get to the starting date? Pass me a bucket! Never heard of drop down lists?

You need to create a method to bulk-upload data using a delimited format but I'm most certainly not going to suggest you use [http://prino.neocities.org/miscellaneous/keeping-statistics.html the format] I use, because that is far too detailed (is it?) and totally incomprehensible for anyone but me. A simple (pseudo-)XML format would probably be pretty useful, but it would need to be set up correctly from the start, not like my format, which is the result of too much fiddling over the years. FWIW, my log pages on Neocities are generated automatically from my data, be it that the sections containing the summary log need some manual work!

Hell, even a simple delimited text format like

<span style="font-family: monospace">city1/100.5+0:50/city2/12.6+0.20/city3/etc</span>

would already work to get the basics.

And get a forum on the site itself, it is a very big PITA to go off-site for discussions about a site. What's wrong with a phpBB forum?
