The North America A Hitch Gathering is a proposed project/gathering set to take place August 21stnon-commercial, 2010 in Bouldervolunteer based, Colorado, with a preself-emptive gathering in Denver, CO on August 20thorganized project that supports the promotion of Hitchhiking. There will be peripheral meetingThe idea is simple: Once a year a place is chosen and everyone (hitchhikers or non-ups in pre-determined spots in cities 'on the road' hitchhikers) gather together to Denver in preceding dayscelebrate, i.e. Salt Lake City UTto share, Albuquerque NMto learn and to discover! It's a time to get together and be happy, Kansas City KSto help one another, Cheyenne WY on the 19th to talk and farther-out cities on the 18th and 17th respectively(exact cities meet, and location yet to be determined).
