Take the metro 9 direction Arganda del Rey (it costs 1 euro for regular zone ticket + 1 euro for extra zone, you have to buy 2 different tickets), and stop at Rivas Vaciamadrid.
Go out of the station, on the right pass under the bridge to the roundabout. You'll see some steps that lead to a bridge over the highwaymotorway, on the left there is a petrol station + an highway motorway entry. Combine sign + asking people. And be patient, it's Spain you know ;-)

[[Hitchhiking]] between Madrid and Barcelona is fairly easy. Go to [[Guadalajara]], you can go by train (cercanias) or by bus, it is 50 km away and costs 4 euros. Then take a bus to Taracena, it is a small village a few km from Guadalajara, from there you can get to a petrol station next to a bar restaurant, already on the highway motorway towards Zaragoza and Barcelona.
If people are not going too far, try to get a lift to the next [[gas station]], 15 km away, much bigger and with many trucks.
