Hitching out

West towards Stara Zagora, Plovdiv, Sofia

There are buses towards the edge of the city, maybe 10, 12 and 14, but make sure to check. Get off at the second large roundabout with big flags in the middle, where you will see a conveniently located OMV petrol station. Here you can ask for a lift or stand outside with a sign.

South towards Sozopol, Primorsko, Malko Tarnovo, Turkey E 87

Ask a local for directions to the intersection of the streets Chataldja and Todor Alexandrov boul.. About 50 m south of the intersection on the street Todor Alexandrov boul. (recognisable by the "Созопол 24км / Sozopol 24km" signs) there is a hitchhiking spot, where there are trees for shade and room for cars to stop.

Wild camping

On the start of E87 highway to Varna  is Lukoil fuel station next to it you will find small park for birdwatching you can camp there

It is possible to sleep on the central beach for free.
